Lutein Oil 20% is a tan to reddish brown liquid of naturally occurring mixed carotenoids in sunflower oil. The mixed carotenoids are extracted from marigold flowers and consist mainly of lutein and a small amount of zeaxanthin. Temperatures are less than 40°C. Thorough mixing before use results in a well-distributed product. Lutein is a carotenoid also known as Marigold Extract, naturally occurring widely in vegetables, flowers, fruits and other plants, which can transfer the absorbed light energy to the special state of chlorophyll A for its conversion of light energy, with the role of protecting chlorophyll.
